Minnesota can be this spectacularly green with just a rain or two, and the blue sky that day was so closely mirrored in the pond out front, with contented horses enjoying their outdoor respite. America the beautiful comes in so many versions, and this is a bucolic favorite of mine. It's impressionistic in that there was limited time in just that amount of light to get the brushstrokes down.
