Still Life...because pansies and peppers and apples in a pink glass bowl behind two fat red ripe pomegranates are all natural occurences, well, maybe not the pink glass bowl, but sorta. It's just a bright beautiful colorful gathering of bounty to brighten your dining spot or kitchen or neutral bathroom? Why resist the prettiest offerings of Mother Nature? No reason at all. I know I live in an age of abstract expressionism and politcal protest. This painting just asks you to turn to the light, to the beautiful, to the natural bounty all around us.
